  Job Scam Syndicate Busted: 59 Singaporeans Victimized The collaboration between Singapore and Malaysia in tackling cross-border crime was demonstrated through the recent arrest of three men involved in money laundering related to a job scam syndicate. Singapore police had earlier reported their suspected involvement in a series of scams, including job scams, investment scams, and impersonation scams, which caused losses of approximately $2.1 million. The joint efforts of the authorities led to the successful bust of the syndicate, resulting in the arrest of the three male suspects who were all Singaporean nationals. The operation took place on June 26 during a police raid in the Taman Perling neighborhood of Johor, Malaysia. The arrests highlighted the reach and impact of the syndicate, as it had victimized 59 Singaporeans.
