Netflix Vietnam removes Chinese drama series "Flight to You" Netflix Vietnam has removed the Chinese romantic drama series “Flight to You” from its platform due to its depiction of a controversial map that violates the maritime sovereignty of Vietnam. The map in question is China’s illegal nine-dash line map, which shows China as owning around 90% of the South China Sea. Vietnam’s Vietnam Cinema Department has assigned personnel to detect films with violations but is facing problems due to the large amount of content on cyberspace. According to a representative from Netflix , the series was removed due to details in the episodes that are prohibited by Vietnamese law. Netflix and FPT Telecom stopped offering the series in Vietnam after Hanoi said it violated sovereignty.
