McDonald's Malaysia, a key licensee of the worldwide fast-food corporation, is embroiled in controversy after filing a defamation case against the local pro-Palestinian group BDS Malaysia. The court lawsuit, which seeks 6 million ringgit in damages, alleges business and reputational loss caused by social media posts linking the company to Israel's military incursion in Gaza .
