Woman Robs Gold Shop at Gunpoint, Flees with 37 Necklaces

A daring gold shop robbery in Bang Sao Thong district shocked locals on Friday evening, as a middle-aged woman, donning a full-face crash helmet, dark green jacket, and black trousers, made off with 37 precious necklaces. Surveillance footage revealed the woman parking her motorcycle outside the Kittima gold shop at Muang Mai Bang Phli housing community around 5:52 pm local time. Entering the shop with a mysterious object concealed in a blue plastic bag, she suddenly brandished it, which turned out to be a gun, forcing the staff to surrender the necklaces. Within moments of the heist, the woman fled on her motorcycle. Quick to respond, patrol police arrived at the scene after the employees triggered an alarm.
