John Lee Hong Kong 's Chief Executive, John Lee, has embarked on a momentous visit to Malaysia, marking his first official trip to the country since assuming office as the fifth Chief Executive in 2022. The visit is aimed at bolstering ties and promoting cooperation between the two states on various fronts. During his visit, John Lee is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and hold discussions with other top officials, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Hong Kong and Malaysia. The Malaysian Foreign Ministry, Wisma Putra, confirmed that Lee will also participate in a significant Malaysia-Hong Kong business forum. This forum is expected to witness the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between various business entities from both regions, further solidifying trade and economic partnerships.
