Constitutional Amendments Take Center Stage at UP Oblation Run

The annual Oblation Run at the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman campus served as a venue for various groups, including administration politicians, to publicize their constitutional amendment efforts. The Ritual Dance of the Brave, also known as the traditional Oblation Run, garnered attention yesterday at UP Palma Hall in Quezon City, with members of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity taking part. The theme for this year's run, “Cha-cha: Hakbang Paurong (Cha-cha: A Step Backward),” focused on the ongoing efforts to change the constitution, particularly the proposed Charter change pushed at the House of Representatives. Eight naked runners took the stage, delivering a powerful dance performance while carrying placards denouncing Cha-cha.
