Ferdinand Marcos Jr , the President of the Philippines, declared that his country is prepared to take the helm of ASEAN in 2026. Addressing ASEAN leaders in Jakarta, he stated, "We will fortify the foundations of our community-building and navigate ASEAN as it embarks on a new chapter."
