The 64-year-old woman's son, Apoorv, sought assistance from the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of External Affairs, expressing frustration over the cruise staff's initial reluctance to release CCTV footage and their perceived disinterest in the matter. Sadly, an update from Apoorv confirmed his mother's death, and a search operation is now underway to locate her body. The cruise company eventually shared the surveillance footage following persistent efforts. It has been reported that the woman didn't know how to swim, adding to the tragedy of the situation.
