Singapore sentences Chinese trio for casino chip theft using superglue

 

Three Chinese nationals were sentenced to jail by a Singaporean court for stealing casino chips worth $87,000 from a casino resort by using superglue to stick the chips to their fingers. 

The incident took place in 2019 when the trio visited the casino and stole the chips from the baccarat tables. They were caught by the casino security and handed over to the police. 

The judge sentenced them to jail terms ranging from 11 to 14 months, highlighting that the act was premeditated and carefully planned. The case serves as a reminder that Singapore has strict laws against theft and other criminal activities.
