In a rare incident at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, two passenger planes collided with each other on the runway. The collision took place near a taxiway at around 11 a.m. local time, involving an EVA Air aircraft and a Thai Airways International jet.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of the collision, offering some relief amidst the potential dangers associated with such incidents. The Japanese public broadcaster NHK has reported that the country's transport ministry has stated it is "highly likely" that the two airplanes collided with each other.
