The Democratic Action Party (DAP), a key component party of the Pakatan Harapan coalition, is preparing to make its mark in the upcoming state election in Penang, a state located in northwest Malaysia. With a strong presence in the region, the DAP aims to contest in all their incumbent seats, displaying their commitment to serving the people of Penang. Additionally, Anthony Loke, the Minister of Transport of Malaysia and the secretary-general of DAP, has affirmed that the party will not undergo significant changes in their approach for the upcoming state elections.

In a notable event held on Saturday, Anthony Loke took center stage at a driving school in Balik Pulau, a town falling under the jurisdiction of Penang. The occasion marked the granting of licenses to motorcyclists under the MyLesen B2 national program. Spearheaded by the Transport Ministry in collaboration with the Road Transport Department (JPJ), the MyLesen B2 program aims to ensure the safety and legality of motorcyclists on the roads. Loke's presence at the event was particularly significant as it targeted the B40 group, underscoring the government's commitment to cater to the needs of the less privileged segments of society.
