As Thailand gears up for the third round of prime ministerial voting scheduled on July 27, the country's National Police have announced their firm commitment to closely monitor political gatherings. National police chief Pol Gen Damrongsak Kittiprapas emphasized the importance of adhering to safety measures mandated by the Public Assembly Act during these gatherings to ensure a peaceful and secure voting process. The move comes in light of recent incidents that have raised concerns about potential disruptions during the electoral process.

Pol Gen Damrongsak Kittiprapas revealed that the police are fully prepared to enforce safety measures at all political gatherings on July 27. These measures are in accordance with the Public Assembly Act, which aims to regulate and manage public gatherings to prevent any untoward incidents. The police chief emphasized that strict adherence to these measures is crucial to maintaining law and order and safeguarding the democratic process in Thailand.
