Since leaving the church in 2013, she claims to have endured 17 years of what she describes as "harassment, intimidation, surveillance, and defamation."

The actress, a vocal opponent of Scientology, previously hosted the documentary series "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath," shedding light on the struggles of former adherents facing bullying and ostracism after leaving the church.

In her lawsuit filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Leah accuses the Church of Scientology of stalking, surveilling, harassing, and threatening her.
