A senseless act of violence unfolded in the heart of Bangkok's Bang Khen district on a fateful Monday night, leaving a community shattered and four lives tragically cut short. Reports indicate that a man on a motorcycle carried out a chilling rampage that claimed the lives of four individuals before he ended his own life, sparking shock and sorrow among the residents of Soi Chaeng Wattana 6.

Jealousy and anguish seemed to fuel this harrowing incident, as the motorcycle taxi driver embarked on a spree of violence that sent shockwaves throughout the neighborhood. The man, identified as 54-year-old Somchai Kaewkomol, reportedly harbored feelings of jealousy that erupted into a devastating series of events.

The calamitous sequence of events began when the assailant arrived at Nicknack market in Soi Chaeng Wattana 6 around 7:30 pm, riding his motorcycle. His target was his wife's mother, Sopha Jansoda, aged 59. In a chilling display of brutality, he shot Sopha Jansoda in the head, extinguishing her life in an instant.
