Malaysia, a Southeast Asian nation known for its rich cultural diversity and emerging film industry, has thrown its hat into the ring at the 96th Academy Awards. The country's official submission for the Best International Feature Film category is "Tiger Stripes," a gripping and visually stunning film that has captured the hearts of audiences and critics alike.

Written and directed by the talented Amanda Nell Eu, "Tiger Stripes" tells a unique and hauntingly beautiful story. The Film Selection Committee (JKPF) of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) recognized the film's exceptional qualities, choosing it to represent Malaysia at the Oscars in 2024.

Fahmi Fadzil, the Minister of Communications and Digital of Malaysia, expressed his pride and optimism regarding the film's submission.
