In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee set the record straight about the speculations surrounding her relationship with Miss Universe Thailand Anntonia Porsild. The two beauty queens, whose camaraderie during the Miss Universe 2023 pageant sparked rumors, shared insights into their close friendship.

Dee, speaking candidly about their bond, emphasized that their connection was rooted in shared interests and a similar sense of humor. "We were just really close. We had so much in common. Our sarcasm, our humor. We could relate to being super kalog," Dee stated during the interview.

The beauty queen also acknowledged the unexpected turn of events that led to the creation of the hashtag #PorDeeUniverse by their fans.
