UAE Launches AI Council and Investment Firm MGX to Drive Technological Innovation




The Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council (AIATC) was officially opened on January 22, 2024, as part of a strategic attempt to position the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as a global technological leader. Led by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the council presented MGX, a ground-breaking technology investment corporation dedicated to advancing cutting-edge ideas for the benefit of current and future generations.

Mubadala and G42, esteemed enterprises well-known in a variety of industries, formed MGX as founding partners. This agreement demonstrates a shared commitment to advancing artificial intelligence (AI) and innovative technologies, establishing the UAE as a significant participant in these critical areas.

MGX's investment focus spans three core areas: AI infrastructure, semiconductor technologies, and AI core technologies and applications.
