UAE Ambassador Promotes Tolerance through Iftar Ceremony in South Korea




Abdullah Saif Al-Nuaimi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to South Korea, recently hosted an iftar ceremony themed "Tolerance" at his residence in Seoul. The event aimed to celebrate and fortify dialogue, understanding, and coexistence values.

Prominent Korean officials, including Korean-Arab Society (KAS) Secretary General Kim Chang-moo, representatives from various religions, academia, media, as well as influential figures, graced the occasion.

Al-Nuaimi delivered a keynote address emphasizing the UAE's commitment to fostering tolerance and inclusivity. "The UAE celebrates Ramadan by breaking barriers of race, color, and nationality. In our diverse society, we embrace tolerance as a defining trait," he remarked.

Highlighting the UAE as a model of coexistence, Al-Nuaimi stressed the nation's dedication to peace and prosperity. "Moderation and respect for others are fundamental to Emirati society, ensuring a peaceful life for all," he affirmed.

Before the ceremony, attendees watched a short film titled "Tolerance," underscoring its significance in UAE society. Participants also immersed themselves in Emirati culture and learned about the nation's development trajectory.

With the UAE being South Korea's exclusive "special strategic partner" in the Middle East, participants expressed aspirations to fortify understanding and dialogue between the two nations.

The iftar event serves as a testament to the UAE's commitment to promoting tolerance and building bridges of harmony worldwide.
