UAE provides medical care on board the Emirati floating hospital in Egypt

A team of 25 Indonesian doctors has joined forces with UAE medical specialists to provide healthcare services aboard the Emirati floating hospital in the Egyptian city of Al-Arish, according to the Emirates News Agency on Monday.

The collaboration is part of the UAE's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which aims to provide healthcare to wounded Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Medical professionals onboard the floating hospital continue to provide crucial care to individuals injured during the Israel-Hamas war.

The institution has shown to be an excellent model for dealing with complex cases, according to WAM.

Its services extend beyond emergency care, with prosthetic limb fittings and other humanitarian projects aimed at restoring hope and alleviating suffering among Palestinian citizens.

The involvement of the Indonesian medical team demonstrates the strong relationship between the UAE and Indonesia, as well as the importance of the doctors' humanitarian role and the difficult circumstances that Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have faced as a result of the conflict.
