Golden Visa Puts UAE Among Top 10 Countries Offering Best Opportunities for the Next Generation


The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been ranked seventh among the top 10 countries providing the best opportunities for the next generation, according to the Henley Opportunity Index. This ranking reflects the country's strong performance across various indicators, including premium education, high livability, and career advancement.

The Henley Opportunity Index evaluates investment migration destinations based on six key parameters: earning potential, career advancement, employment prospects, premium education, economic mobility, and overall livability. The UAE achieved a total opportunity score of 67%, surpassing several well-established nations such as Austria, New Zealand, Italy, Hong Kong, Latvia, Malta, Hungary, Greece, and Portugal.

A significant contributor to the UAE’s ranking is its Golden Visa program, which grants long-term residency (10 years) to property buyers, investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, and outstanding students. Since its introduction in 2019, the program has attracted thousands of investors and property buyers, further enhancing the UAE’s appeal as a preferred destination for high-net-worth individuals and skilled professionals.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi have emerged as key wealth hubs, drawing skilled individuals from various sectors, including engineering, healthcare, and technology. The country is widely recognized for fostering an innovative environment and providing extensive networking opportunities, solidifying its position as a prime destination for sustained professional growth and success.

The top-ranked countries for investment migration in the Henley Opportunity Index include Switzerland, Singapore, the United States, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom, with Switzerland leading at an opportunity score of 84%. The UAE’s strong placement in the rankings underscores its commitment to fostering economic growth, talent attraction, and long-term residency benefits, positioning it as a leading global hub for the next generation of professionals and investors.
